FiatDock (the "Service") is a technology provider that lets users and their AI agents create sessions for converting between digital assets and fiat currency. Every regulated activity — identity verification (KYC/AML), custody of funds, payment processing and bank settlement — is performed exclusively by Transak (the "Provider"), a licensed provider, under its own terms of service. FiatDock is not an exchange, payment institution or custodian; it never receives, holds, aggregates or transmits user funds or wallet keys at any point. By completing any transaction you contract directly with the Provider and are subject to its terms and policies; accepting, rejecting or limiting transactions is the Provider's decision alone.
The Service is available only to natural persons aged 18 or over (or entities they lawfully represent). Every transaction must be own-account: the wallet sending crypto and the bank account receiving fiat must belong to the same verified person — the owner of the AI agent creating the session. It is expressly prohibited to:
• use the Service with, or for the benefit of, third-party funds · • aggregate funds or transactions of multiple persons through one wallet, account or channel · • use the Service for person-to-person transfers or as a remittance channel · • use a wallet or bank account you do not own.
AI agents act only on behalf of their verified owner; the owner is legally responsible for every action of their agent and its keys, and these Terms — including the own-account rule — apply to agent-initiated transactions exactly as to human-initiated ones.
Anti-fraud declaration. By initiating any transaction you declare that: the funds involved are your lawful property and are not proceeds of crime, stolen, or otherwise unlawfully obtained; and the transaction is made on your own initiative — not at the request, instruction or inducement of any third party (including anyone promising returns, posing as support staff, or directing you to "verify" or "unlock" funds).
The Service is NOT available to residents of the following jurisdictions:
Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, China, DR Congo, Croatia, Cuba, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gibraltar, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, North Korea, Kosovo, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Macao, Mali, Monaco, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, North Macedonia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vietnam, British Virgin Islands, Yemen, Zimbabwe — plus the United Kingdom (excluded by us initially) and any jurisdiction restricted by the Provider from time to time.
These restrictions come from our licensed provider's coverage, not from FiatDock. Restrictions reflect the coverage of our licensed payment provider. We are actively working to expand coverage to more countries as provider support becomes available. You are responsible for confirming that using the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction before transacting.
Mirroring the Provider's Acceptable Use Policy, the Service must not be used in connection with: gambling or betting; adult content; weapons and ammunition; drugs and drug paraphernalia; counterfeit goods; multi-level marketing or get-rich-quick schemes; full-privacy coins or mixing/tumbling services; contracts for difference (CFDs); tobacco or prescription pharmaceuticals; launching or funding token offerings (ICOs); money laundering or sanctions evasion; or any unlawful activity. We may suspend access immediately on suspicion of any of the above.
API usage fee: $0.05 (USDC) per session-creation request, paid automatically over the x402 protocol. A 1% service commission is included in each transaction's conversion fees. Provider and network fees are itemised in every quote before any commitment. No hidden fees.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Nothing in the Service constitutes investment, financial, tax or legal advice (see the risk warning). Digital assets are highly volatile and total loss is possible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FiatDock is not liable for: the Provider's decisions (rejections, delays, limits, account actions); blockchain irreversibility; losses from price movements between quote and execution; or user errors, including wrong wallet addresses or IBANs supplied by you or your agent. FiatDock's aggregate liability for all claims is capped at the fees you actually paid to FiatDock in the three (3) months preceding the claim. You will indemnify and hold FiatDock harmless against claims arising from your (or your agent's) misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
Third-party fraud against you. FiatDock is not liable for losses caused by fraud committed against you by third parties — including fake investment schemes or "guaranteed return" promises, impersonation of technical support or government officials, romance or recovery scams, or any scheme inducing you to convert or send funds. If anyone you do not know asked you to make a transaction or promised you returns, stop: it is likely a scam. Transactions you authorise in response to such schemes remain your sole responsibility.
We may refuse, suspend or terminate access — and refuse, delay or flag any individual transaction — where we suspect a breach of these Terms, fraud, money laundering or other unlawful activity, and we may report suspicious activity to the licensed Provider and to competent authorities. All transactions are additionally subject to the Provider's own AML, sanctions and fraud screening; the Provider may reject or hold transactions under its regulatory obligations. We cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and the courts of Portugal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in force (severability). We may update these Terms with notice on this page; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
